What an amazing day celebrating the ribbon cutting for Amstutz Hall and Schar Plaza! 💜💛
A huge thank you to Dwight and Martha Schar for their incredible generosity to Ashland University. It was such an honor to help celebrate them and everything they have done for AU.
I’m so proud of our AU Catering & Conferences team and everything we were able to put together for this event. From the event coordination, linens and flowers, to the coffee and soda bars and all of the over-the-top mini desserts, there were so many little details that made the day feel special.
This event also showed how amazing campus collaboration can be.
Thank you to Lyceum for the delicious coffee bar and Tuffy’s Smoothie Bar for the Dirty Soda Bar. Both were such a fun addition to the event!
Thank you to the AU Campus Store for the Schar Plaza T-shirts and tumblers, and to the AU Marketing team for all of the work with the banners, posters, signage, media and marketing materials.
Thank you to AU Band and AU Cheer for making this celebration even more meaningful and festive!
Thank you AU Facilities and grounds for the pristine work making the campus so beautiful and clean, for the beautiful mums and for the assistance with banners.
Thank you to AU Safety Services for making sure the event was safe, and all the parking lot coordination.
Thank you to Advancement and ELT for working so closely with us on the event, incredible collaboration, planning, guest coordination, and work behind the event schedule. It truly took a team working together to make this celebration possible.
And a big thank you to Ashland Florals for the beautiful flower arrangements, AKT Rentals for the gorgeous peak tents, and BCU for helping us with the sound system.
So many people had a part in making this event come together, and I’m very thankful for everyone who helped.
It was a beautiful celebration, a great day for Ashland University, and one of those events that reminds me how much can happen when everyone works together. 💜💛
