Thank you and Farewell!
To our customers and friends,
We would like to share that we will be closing Pomodoros Café in South Asheville on Saturday, September 18th. This is a bittersweet announcement as we have a great appreciation for all the people that have touched us and contributed to a successful 27 years in serving Asheville with our three restaurants. The most difficult part of our decision to retire from the restaurant business is losing a direct connection to our loyal guests and staff members that have been instrumental in our accomplishments. We are grateful for the opportunity over the years to have worked with many wonderful hard working employees, the invaluable relationships with our vendors and the blessing for all the guests who have supported us, many of them who now feel like our extended family.
In 2014, we sold our East Asheville Pomodoros location on Tunnel Road with the intention of completely phasing out of the restaurant industry when my wife and I became empty nesters so we could focus on other ventures. That time has come. We look forward to new projects and opportunities on the horizon.
As for our restaurant property, we will have some exciting news in the coming weeks to announce who will be taking over our space.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Tommy Tsiros
