early voting is here, north carolina! 🗳️
and you know what's more spooky than our halloween display? waking up on nov 4 and realizing we're still governed by incompetent billionaire-boot-licking predators who will gaslight you, vote against you, and p**s on you if their corporate donors tell them to 👹 we're done with that 🙅
yes, the ballot is long (vote up and down, front and back!), and if you have no idea what/who to vote for - here's a few ways to figure it out:
• follow nc political creators like Anna & hannah preston, mph
• check out the re-posts tab (🔃 icon) in our profile POTENTIAL NEW BOYFRIEND - we repost relevant content (including Rob Campbell post on the buncombe bonds and constitutional amendments)
• find a local voter guide from a group who shares your values (such as Blue Voter Guide), or a more general one like the ones from Mountain Xpress
and Asheville Citizen Times
are all (or any of) the candidates Perfect? no. but some of them will do a lot more harm if elected than others. and if you feel like it won't make a difference - do it for your neighbors and the millions of people their votes would impact.
