Today, we share some truly heartbreaking news. Our amount Pleasant/Charleston restaurant has been closed, effective immediately.

To our Charleston family, Thank You for making this space so special. We are endlessly proud of our amazing White Duck Team, the community who welcomed us, and the fun we have had together. We love you, Mt. Pleasant.

The impact of Hurricane Helene has left White Duck Tacos’ home in asheville devastated, affecting our headquarters, and our River Arts location. We’re overwhelmed by the love and support we have received during this time from our guests, partners and local communities.

While we focus our efforts on rebuilding Asheveville, we’re committed to continuing our mission to bring you the tacos you love, good times that create memories, and the vibrant community spaces that connect us all. We continue to welcome you at our other locations.

Thank you for standing with us through every high and low. We will get through this together.

Love y’all
Team White Duck

Update. I have been asked many a fold. We will not stop giving away food to those in need. We are all in this together. The more love and support you give is exactly what we need to keep going. Emotions are high right now. Come enjoy yourself for a brief moment. This is what we can give. It’s not much but to us it’s everything.

Holy smokes! The White Duck Taco Shop location at 16 Miami Circle in South Asheville will be open starting tomorrow, Sunday, October 6, between the hours of 12 - 6:30 PM. We will have a very limited menu, and will be donation based. Anyone who needs food and is hungry, hugs and tacos await you. We have clearance from the health department to be open and start working again at this location. Please stop by say hello to our amazing staff and have some tacos on us. And surprise! we are prepared to have frozen margaritas and beer on tap. We are still in a boil advisory, so please understand we are making as much food as possible, but if we sell out, we will be out and start again the next day. We are all together in this. We are proudly Appalachia and Asheville born and raised STRONG. Can’t stop, won’t stop!!!
