Step back in time as you enter the historic building that was restored by the owners and staff. The aroma of our famous sourdough pizza will greet you as you behold the wonder of over 40 beers on tap (and even more in bottles!) After dinner and a beer, stay and listen to the bluegrass, country, jazz, and Americana music performed live most nights. We never have a cover charge and are a “clique”-free environment. From mountain twang to hip-hop beats, Saturday night at Barley’s has a little bit of everything!

Laron Huntley & The Gravely Bros. hit the stage at 8:30! This multigenerational Asheville band brings old-school country, Southern rock, Appalachian roots, and plenty of grit.

Then head upstairs for DJ Nex Millen! A Philly native, producer, MC, and turntable wizard, Nex brings serious hip-hop credentials, funky grooves, and soulful beats. He’s also helped mentor Asheville’s next generation of hip-hop artists.

Two floors. Two very different sounds. One great Saturday night!

A North Carolina native and International Blues Challenge winner, Abe learned from legendary Carolina bluesmen Guitar Gabriel and Cootie Stark, bringing a gritty mix of Piedmont blues, boogie, harmonica and rock ’n’ roll.
