Meet Cam, Sous Chef at Vinnie’s South.

Cam joined us just three months ago, but he’s already found his place! Before Vinnie’s, he was chef de cuisine at Strada Italiana downtown, and even ran a pizza kitchen at the same time. He says it just takes patience, and a good crew helps too.

What he loves most here isn’t just the food; it’s the people. Getting along with everybody, that’s rare, and he’s grateful to have found it in this kitchen.

His favorite dish to make is the lobster ravioli and, honestly, we don’t blame him. Have you tried that dish? 🤌❤️

At home, he’s got two cats named Sauron and Stitch, a pup named Astro, and is probably gaming a fantasy quest in his free time.

Meet Beth ❤️

Our new assistant general manager! If her face looks familiar, that’s because it should. She’s been a steady presence at the OG location since day one.

She’s been part of the Vinnie’s family for almost a year now, starting as utility staff before moving into a server role, then key manager this past spring, and now stepping into her new position as AGM.

Before joining us, she spent six years as a lead recruiter at Mission Hospital and even took three months to travel through Europe, with Copenhagen topping her list of favorite places she’s ever visited.

Ask her what to order, and she’ll tell you the Sunday gravy every time. It reminds her of her dad’s family recipe growing up, and she says it tastes just like home.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her paddleboarding or hiking on her days off. She’s an aunt to five nieces and nephews too.

We’re so excited to see Beth grow in this new role.

This year’s Haywood Street Congregation “A Seat at the Table” fundraiser sold out and brought together 130 guests, all in support of those experiencing poverty and homelessness in Asheville.
