For nine years, DJ Dr. Filth (Whitney Shroyer) played 45 RPM rock and roll, soul, funk, and more at the Admiral Restaurant every Saturday night. It was the best dance party the state of North Carolina had ever seen. In 2016, the Admiral was forced to stop the dance parties due to pressure from the ALE.
