My dear SHK fam. As we are approaching the 2 year mark from Helene, there are so many people still living in the day to day of it all. I have some friends who, when everything was chaos, threw themselves into helping their neighbors. They delivered meals, heaters, clothing, tents, fuel and so much love to their community. They participated in fundraising, raising thousands toward direct community care. They gave their own resources as well. To this day, they are still helping others in a myriad of ways. Every single day. Now it is they who need a hand up. Health issues have arisen and impacted their ability to work. Money is extremely tight for these folks. They are the kindest people; they are the salt of the earth. It would be a honor to be able to offer them some help. You all, SHK fam, have come through when I’ve asked so many times. It has amazed me, humbled and taught me the truth of what it is live your life with gratefulness and generosity leading the way. I have done my best to always pay that forward. So! I’m asking again.
