🍑 Lee's Peach Ice Cream is back! 🍑

Two Versions, both made with Lee's One Fortune Farm peaches, are available at all locations starting today, 7/17.

• Dairy Lee's Peach - Hop-made peach compote spun into the base and swirled throughout.
• Vegan Lee's Peach Ice Cream - same as above with our pea protein base.

We're always excited to partner with our friends at Lee's One Fortune Farm to bring you fun seasonal flavors. Their peaches have become a summertime staple for so many of us in Western North Carolina, and we're grateful for the care, hard work, and dedication they put into growing them.

The first Groovin’ on Grovemont of 2026 is happening today, 7/14 and we are happy to say that The Hop will be joining the party! Expect an evening of great music featuring Datrian and the Family, delicious food, and community fun at Grovemont Park!

🌮 Dinner starts at 6:00 PM
Suggested donations:
• $15 adult plates
• $5 kid plates
(Feel free to round up for a great cause!)

Menu: Chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, vegetarian fajitas, corn and flour tortillas, rice, vegetarian black beans, salad, chips & salsa, guacamole, and queso.

Dairy and Vegan Ice Cream will be available for purchase.

🎵 Music starts around 6:30 PM

🚗 Parking Information
Please walk or carpool if you’re able, as parking is limited. See map. A huge thank you to our parking partners:
• Swannanoa Christian Church
• St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church
• Swannanoa Church of God

🚌 FREE Shuttle Service
Thanks to the American Legion, a free shuttle will run from the Swannanoa Church of God beginning at 5:30 PM and continuing every few minutes until the concert ends.

Please park responsibly, respect our neighbors, leave room for emergency vehicles, and do not block fire hydrants.

All food proceeds and other donations benefit the Swannanoa Community Council, which owns and operates Grovemont Park, Fox Creek Park, and the Swannanoa Library building, as well as the Friends of the Swannanoa Library. A portion of all ice cream sales will be donated.

Bring your lawn chairs and your dancing shoes! We hope to see you there.

Shindig on the Green and the Mountain Dance and Folk Festival kicks off tonight, July 11, treating folks at Pack Square Park with free bluegrass and old-time tunes, clogging, storytelling, and spontaneous jam sessions. As always, we will be there with dairy and vegan ice cream, including Appalachian Sunset, an orange creamsicle base swirled with Hop-made strawberry jam.

It's wild to think that Shindig on the Green has been gathering for 60 summers, and this year marks The Hop's 16th season with the event!

Each event is free to attend and starts along about sundown 🙂
