Along with our friends at Master BBQ AVL, we're excited to introduce Ube Cheese Milk Tea, our July Drink Special at Pop Bubble Tea!
Created in collaboration with Paul and Julia, the incredibly talented Filipino power couple behind the Master BBQ food truck(s), this special features ube jam, freshly brewed Hong Kong tea, sweetened condensed coconut milk, whole milk, tapioca, and an ube cheese cap finished with shavings of mild cheddar cheese.
The combination of ube and cheese is a beloved pairing in the Philippines, where the creamy richness of cheese beautifully balances the naturally sweet, nutty, vanilla-like flavor of ube. You'll find this combination in everything from cakes and pastries to ice cream and other desserts, making it a nostalgic flavor and a delicious introduction for those trying it for the first time.
Ube Cheese Milk Tea will will be available all month long in-store and to order ahead through Shop Pop Online (link in the comments).
