We’re excited to welcome the Cinco Jotas team back to Cúrate this Thursday and Friday. They’ll be in the building working alongside our staff and helping carve their signature Jamón Ibérico de Bellota to order.

Since 1879, Cinco Jotas has produced Jamón de Bellota 100% Ibérico in Jabugo, where generations of artisans have perfected the craft. The unique microclimate of the dehesa and their uncompromising standards shape a jamón known for its silky texture, deep aroma of acorn and toasted hazelnut, and a richness that speaks to the traditions of Spanish dining. It’s the kind of jamón found in the great tapas bars of Spain, and one we’re honored to share here in Asheville.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to help fund our Haywood Street Welcome Table lunch. Your contributions helped us serve a Cúrate lunch to our Asheville neighbors, with support from our Cúrate managers and staff volunteers.

Haywood Street Congregation is always looking to connect with additional restaurant partners interested in serving a meal with Haywood Street Welcome Table. If you are a local restaurant looking for another way to show up for and engage with our community, we highly recommend joining us in supporting Haywood Street’s initiatives.

We can wholeheartedly say this is an experience we truly enjoy taking part in, and a meaningful, rewarding way to share hospitality beyond the restaurant.

There is something beautiful about a steaming bowl of mussels, cooked in broth, tomato, and reminiscent of the churning Atlantic salt air.

Our Mejillones a la Marinera (Sailor-Style Mussels) never claimed to be more than the sum of its parts, a reflection of the food you might find down at a Spanish dock: fisherman’s food, the type of food you eat with your hands, a glass of Albariño and sturdy bread to use to mop the bowl of every drop of broth.

Hailing from the rocky shores of Galicia in northern Spain, the dish has the taste of the sea infused into every bite. PEI mussels, tomato, stewing in a rustic chicken and seafood broth. Our Mejillones a la Marinera will transport you to the docks where this very dish was born.

Available all day on our menu.

A La Bodega menu item so popular, we had to add it to the Cúrate menu.

Bright, briny, and satisfyingly crunchy, the Ensalada combines some of our favorite Spanish ingredients: crisp gem lettuce, pistachios, olives, and Idiazabal cheese, all tossed in a house-made pistachio vinaigrette and sweetened with citrus supremes.

Is it a traditional Spanish dish, per se? Well, not exactly. But it carries the spirit of Spain in every bite.

Top it with crispy shrimp for a balanced lunch, pair it with pan con tomate, or enjoy it alongside our rotating Paella del Día for a contrasting crunch. We’ll be honest, this salad goes with just about everything on the menu.

Available every day of service.

The Cúrate classic, always on the postres menu in one way or another: Tarta de Queso, our burnt Basque cheesecake. ’s take on the contemporary Spanish staple has an unexpected little secret: goat cheese folded into the base for a subtle tang and savory edge.

First served in the 1980s at La Viña, a small pintxo bar in the center of San Sebastián, Tarta de Queso has no crust and is baked at high heat, giving it that signature caramelized "burnt” surface and creamy custard center. A lot of trial and patience goes into getting that balance just right.

Currently served with juicy macerated spring strawberries and our signature oat crumble. Available now through the end of the season!

Let’s take a moment for our Ramo Real, easily the most popular drink on our spring cocktail menu.

This “royal bouquet” was dreamed up by bartender Carroll Herring as a nod to springtime florals, with rose water, lavender tea tincture, and elderflower bringing that soft, aromatic quality.
The name has a fun little double meaning, too: Spain’s royal family belongs to the House of Borbón, or Bourbon in English, so a bourbon cocktail felt like a very fitting choice.

Made with Four Roses bourbon, Liquore Strega, Amaro de Vino Apéro Ibérico, honey, fresh lemon, rose, lavender, and elderflower, it’s floral, herbal, bright, and surprisingly easy to drink. The best part? It’s been winning over even the non-bourbon drinkers.

Available now through the end of the season.

Open for Mother’s Day brunch today with something sweet for mom, including one of our current spring favorites: Fresas con Nata.

This classic Spanish dessert is simple at heart, built around fresh strawberries at their seasonal peak. In Spain, you’ll often find Fresas con Nata served both at home and on restaurant menus when strawberries are at their best.

Cúrate’s take features house-made strawberry sorbet, creamy vanilla ganache, lime meringue for tang and crunch, and aromatized strawberries.

Not joining us for Mother’s Day? You still have time to try this sweet thing through the end of the season.
