Sanctuary dog spotlight!
Grimm is one of our sanctuary dogs that is rarely shown or talked about. He is Goose's twin brother. Grimm is the definition of all bark and no bite. He was known for s**t talking and riling up Goose and other dogs to the point of a fight, then running away at the first sign of actual danger, leaving Goose to fight it out alone. (Goose is typically the opposite. He won't necessarily start a fight out of nowhere but he will damn sure finish it!)
Together they made a dangerous team, but separately they would spiral into individual aggression and depression. That is until one fateful day that a piece of food was dropped between them. An epic battle ensued, and they have had to remain separated ever since. They are poster children for sibling attachment disorder.
Luckily, they have been gradually improving in the months they've been apart, and they have muzzles for when needed. Goose still has anxiety, hence the recent situation where he injured himself, but Grimm is adjusting surprisingly well. He is typically healthy and doesn't have any special needs, which means he sometimes gets lost in the excitement of other things.
Grimm is a good boy, but like Goose, he is unpredictable and has a history of initiating fights at seemingly random. Due to this we do not feel comfortable with adopting him out, making him another permanent resident of our sanctuary.
