It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of our head barista, Emily, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, as she embarks on her first big girl, post-college job.
Emily joined us four years ago as what was initially a temporary position while another employee was out for a surgery. She excelled in her temporary position and became a permanent fixture of Nannie Mae’s and embodied everything that we wanted our small business to be. We knew that she would only be with us until she graduated, but, even now, this still feels too soon to say goodbye.
Emily, we wish you nothing but the best in your new career, and we’re going to miss you beyond belief. We will never forget you and hope you visit often.
Please come wish her well and see her beautiful self before she leaves.
