Carnegie NY Style Pizza, Rolls, & Bowls, in Ashburn, VA. is looking for a Restaurant Cashier/Server to cover payment handling duties for our pizza restaurant. In this position, you will run credit and debit cards, make change for cash payments, and provide general customer service. You will also greet customers as they come in and resolve any complaints.



Duties and Responsibilities

· Process credit cards and get signatures

· Create change for those paying with cash

· Closeout the register at the end of the day

This is an exciting opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for our customers, continually improve our quality of service and help our team reach their full potential.

Restaurant Manager skills and qualifications

This Restaurant Manager should have the following qualifications in order to successfully meet the demands of the job:

At least a high school diploma
Previous restaurant experience
Prior work as a manager or supervisor
Success with customer service
Training in food safety
Experience with long shifts
Financial literacy
Ability to keep inventory organized
Duties include hiring and training restaurant staff following company policies, speaking with diners to address concerns or solve problems and creating work schedules for restaurant staff. This position also requires that the person knows how to operate a Point Of Sale (POS) restaurant system, has knowledge of baking pizza, preparing sandwiches, and preparing salads.

This is a non-tip position that demands that the person communicates well with the team, is always on time to work, is flexible and teachable about learning new skills, and maintains a positive work attitude.
