I've avoided posting something like this, but I gotta get it off my chest. It's a bit long, but please read it all!
I know we have had some growing pains since opening, made some mistakes, given some bad service, and served some food that we should have cooked better. And I am personally responsible for each mistake we've made.
The positive takeaway is that we've learned a lot from our missteps and have improved tremendously. I know we aren't perfect. We're human. We are a small business founded and staffed by humans. We will always make mistakes, no matter how hard we try to be perfect. But our current team (most of which have been with us over a year) has risen to the challenges and bought into what our goal is - to be the number 1 restaurant in Artesia. Best service and best food in Artesia. Every day. And I think we come dang close to that, every single day.
We had a Yelp review talking about how difficult we were to find. I couldn't agree more. We aren't situated in an ideal location. That's why every loyal guest we've had is so important to us. I know in a town this size how important it is to have a solid reputation or we will fail. And I feel that we have operated every aspect of our business with the best intentions and integrity. And we do have a good reputation, I feel.
So please, if you haven't given us a chance in a while, come try again. Spread the word about us. We need our community behind us! We take a LOT of pride in not being fast food, or pre-cooking anything so it's faster. We don't take shortcuts. Is the corporate restaurant faster? Probably. Is our food and service better? 100% yes.
Let us prove it to you.
Thank you to each person that has stuck with us since we started the food truck. We really appreciate every one of you.
