This week’s newest flavor is Gingerbread Cake! 😋 We baked up the softest, yummiest gingerbread and crumbled it right over creamy vanilla ice cream — and well… it’s super delicious! 🫚

The only problem? We can’t decide if it’s a Fall flavor or a Christmas flavor 🤔 — it kinda tastes of candlelight and cinnamon! 🍁🕯️🤎

Good Morning! ☀️

We don’t usually share things like this, but this hits SO close to home—both geographically and emotionally.❤️‍🩹

A little history… about three years ago, we went through a similar accident, one whose ripples we still feel today. We know our business wouldn’t exist without the incredible love and support we received back then, and we’re endlessly grateful. If we can send even a fraction of that love to Erica and Daniel right now, it would mean so much. 🥰

For anyone who may have missed it: the kind and talented chef at the Tavern was hit by a car about two weeks ago and has been receiving care at University Hospital ever since. ❤️‍🩹

Arrow Rock has been so extraordinarily blessed to have Erica and Daniel’s presence and warmth all summer! He has been filling our days with his amazing food at the Tavern, while just up the street, she has created an adorably beautiful, little snow globe of a space at Bingham’s Coffee House. ✨☕️☀️

We’re keeping them in our hearts and sending oceans and oceans of love, hugs, and cozy wishes their way! 💕

A huge, cozy thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Heritage Festival! 🍂

The weather was perfect, the vendors outdid themselves, and the crowd brought all the cheer and charm we could dream of. It was the kind of weekend that reminds us exactly why we love fall SO much! 🎃🍁🧡

✨ We’ve got a little mix of good news and
bad news…

Let’s rip the band-aid off first: the bad news
We’ve got some family things going on, which means we won’t be able to open this week. We’re so, so truly sorry for that & the late notice! 🪧

Now for the good news—the part we’re really really excited about our show flavors! 🥳

To make it up to you, we’ll be open Tuesday through Sunday next week and we’ve been stirring up some killer flavors in our ice cream room… 😋

1️⃣ “Insanity runs in the family—it practically gallops.” 🖤🍷🍦

An elderberry & blueberry wine sorbet that’s dark, juicy, and so delightful! ( Even without the arsenic😝).

2️⃣ “Window seats are reserved for quiet types… and permanent guests.” 👀

We have been waiting all year to put carrots in our batch freezer again! 🤣 So we made a chaotic “ooelly” delicious carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and swirled it into cinnamon ice cream! and this is one of our newest favorites of the year! 🤩🥕🍦😋

🎭 In honor of all this delicious mischief, we’re raising a glass to Arsenic and Old Lace, playing at the Lyceum Theatre this week and next—and we hear it’s absolutely fantastic! We’re already dying with excitement!

We have to send the biggest, warmest farewell and thank you to all the incredible reenactors who joined us this weekend! 💫

We know what a juggling act it can be to carve out time for an event like this, and we’re so grateful you made Arrow Rock part of your journey. 💚

We hope you loved being here as much as we loved having you. The streets already feel a little too quiet without all those boots, laughter, and dazzling smiles.

✨ A little peek into Arrow Rock this weekend… 🪓👀🗝️✨

The reenactors have arrived! We’re in awe of the care and detail that’s gone into this event—every outfit, every scene so thoughtfully put together, it’s impossible not to get swept up in the magic. 💫

All weekend long you’ll spot them strolling through town, swapping stories, and bringing history to life right before our eyes. The charm is irresistible—we’re more than a little starry-eyed. ✨ And because no grand Arrow Rock weekend is complete without ice cream, we’ve brought back one of our rare and fantastic flavors “Lock, Stock & Lighting!” in honor of the reenactors! ⚡️.

This is only the second time this flavor has ever been made 🤯—a rich whisky ice cream with roasted walnuts, smoky, nutty, and just the right touch of deliciously dangerous. 🔥🍦🔥

So come meet the dashing gentlemen and the hopelessly beautiful ladies, & say hello to history, while your here! 🕰️
