We are so excited for Sarah! Welcome to The Village! ❤️

Please join us in welcoming Sarah Huston to our staff. Sarah brings experience in education and retail management that will assist us in attracting new visitors to the village, which will contribute to the longevity of the village's historic preservation.

Hi! I’m Sarah Huston, and I’m so excited to join Friends of Arrow Rock as the Director of Operations and Educational Programs! As a former educator, I’m passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and helping people connect with history in engaging ways.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, Cole, and our dog, Benny. I also love baking, reading a good book, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends. I especially enjoy spending time with my niece and nephew, who keep me on my toes at ages 1 and 3!

I’m excited to help preserve Arrow Rock’s history while creating memorable experiences for visitors of all ages. I look forward to becoming part of the Arrow Rock community and can’t wait to meet everyone!

It’s always a labor, a labor of love tho, in this small kitchen. But today was cinnamon roll day. I believe there are only 6 left. They’re covered in a rich brown butter glaze. It’s insane good! Yes that one on the plate, I ate. With a hot cup of coffee with sweet cream. Emmi and Vanessa will be there till 2 today. Go get one!

We also will be closed tomorrow, i know I’m sorry, but Shay will be here finishing up our electric so we can finally have our grab and go up and running. I am excited for that. All our friends at The Lyceum have put in special requests. And you know I’m gonna give them what they want. I make every single theater person promise to mention me in their acceptance speeches. It’s because of Bingham’s burritos!!!! I’m kidding, not really. Anyhoo, back open Friday morning at 8am. With fresh cinnamon rolls! And some yummy gluten free muffins!

THIS FRIDAY NIGHT you are going to wanna be in Arrow Rock! It’s our Summer Boardwalk Concert Featuring SUPER EASY! And they are awesome! There will be delicious food from of course my favorite Chef, Daniel Ellis, at The J. Huston Tavern!!! You won’t want to miss the fun! Come dance on Main Street with us! Bring your friends for a night of fun!

This Friday, Arrow Rock comes alive with great music and good food—a summer evening you won’t want to miss! Come enjoy the FREE Summer Concert featuring Supereasy from Kansas City. The music starts at 7:00 PM and runs until 9:00 PM (free will donation).

Instead of our regular menu, Chef Daniel will be firing up the grill right out front with a special concert-night menu designed for an evening of live music and fun. Stay tuned, as we’ll share the menu later this week.
