The outpouring of love for Patrick and our family has been truly overwhelming in the most beautiful way.

I may not be able to respond to every message, but please know that your kindness has brought comfort to me and our daughters during this incredibly difficult time.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Patrick Hicks. 🤍🕊️

Patrick was more than a co-founder of Smoke’N Ash. His passion, dedication, and hard work helped build a place where food, culture, and community came together. His impact extended far beyond the kitchen, touching the lives of family, friends, and the many customers who walked through our doors.

What an incredible experience at the Texas Monthly BBQ Homecoming!

A heartfelt thank-you to Texas Monthly for inviting Smoke’N Ash BBQ to be one of the restaurants to serve at this special event. We were honored to share our Tex-Ethiopian BBQ with everyone.
