The Liberty Tavern, established in 2007, is a popular neighborhood restaurant and bar located in the heart of Arlington, VA. The first floor of our restored historic property houses an inviting bar and lounge that remains vibrant all hours of the day. Our upstairs dining room offers sincere, professional service and a warm ambiance, where guests can be equally comfortable enjoying a sophisticated
multi-course dinner or a casual weekday meal. Our cuisine features the best of fresh, in-season ingredients, carefully prepared to emphasize memorable flavors. We are devoted to in-house production: we bake over a dozen varieties of breads and rolls on a daily basis, we make all of our pasta, sausages, and desserts, and there is always something creating an irresistible aroma in our hardwood smoker. We complement our food with a wine list, beer menu, and bar that focuses on quality, variety, and value. The Liberty Tavern was founded by two Arlington families, the Fedorchaks and the Normiles, and remains proudly locally owned and operated. Our restaurant has consistently been recognized as a leader in the Metropolitan Washington hospitality community, and we are flattered by the critical acclaim we’ve received, including designation as a Washington Post Editor’s Pick and inclusion in Washingtonian Magazine’s Top 100 Very Best Restaurants for seven consecutive years- every year since our inception.
