Back in 1971, Mariano Martínez had a simple idea that would go on to become part of American history.
What started as the world’s first frozen margarita machine is now displayed in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
More than 50 years later, we’re proud to see a piece of Texas and Tex-Mex culture recognized alongside other innovations that helped shape our nation’s story.
