A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at Freddie’s Beach Bar for the annual Equality NOVA Ice Cream Social on Sunday, 27 September. Rain brought us indoors, but it couldn’t dim our rainbow.
For more than 25 years, Freddie’s has been a welcoming haven for the LGBTQIA+ community. I’m grateful you chose to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging with us.
We won’t always share the same experiences or agree on every issue, but we cannot allow those differences to divide us. By listening with respect and making room for one another, we strengthen our shared commitment to dignity, equality, and belonging.
Our diverse backgrounds strengthen our community, and our unity helps us accomplish great things. Thank you for being part of that spirit and for choosing Freddie’s Beach Bar as a place to gather, celebrate, and belong.
