Our bread is made with 100% stone milled grain with a good chunk milled the same day. No white flour ever. No commercial yeast ever. Red fife, kamut, warthog, spelt, glenn & rye all from the northeast. The bran i sift out is my bench flour. believe that whole wheat with only water and salt is this soft and delicious. This is with Snug valley farm pork and house pickles and mayo. Some local cheese.

Cooks don’t tend to have a ton of disposable income. I suggest that if you can grow one or two things, you don’t need much. Don’t trust all the recipes. Work with what you’ve got. Pasta with flour and water is equally delicious. Enjoy some time cooking a simple meal if you can. And cook it outside.
We’ll be closed for a few weeks. Our foods always better after a little r&r anyway. ✌️& ❤️.

Just a reminder we’re open tonight with this lovely stuff. Look at those fava beans, they are nothing like the wrinkly old stuff you see at the store. After we get back from break, the season will have shifted, so get some strawberries, favas, herbs and early lettuces now while they are good. 5pm. www.prepnk.com. 1367 Mass Ave, Arlington (no hard feelings if you prefer to go support your local farmer directly.
