Avacado Bread 🍞

Ok. This one is actually a play on a comment I saw. The video the comment was under mentioned Avacado Toast. The commenter said, "I didn't know toast could be made out of avocados." My brain immediately saw that and went "Bet." and here we are. Avacado Bread that becomes Avacado Toast when toasted. 😁 It was made by using avocados for both the fat and some of the water content needed in bread.

Mini Cupcakes

These mini cupcakes were for a wedding last weekend. These always seem to be a huge hit for the guests! I was told they were completely gone by the end of the night!

Flavors were Cookies and Cream, Lemon Raspberry, Chocolate Caramel, Snickerdoodle, Chocolate, and Vanilla.

Let me nerd out for a minute. 😁

Many of you may remember about a year and a half ago I posted about starting several different varieties of Vanilla Extract. Well, it was finally time to taste test them!!

There were a total of 8 vanilla bean origins. The rankings were based on my own expertise specific to baking in regards to flavor profiles, element use, and overall effect on the most basic cookie: shortbread.

The winner was Tanzania followed by India. If you know anything about vanilla, you know Madagascar is by far the most popular origin used in the US followed by Mexico. So it was interesting to me that the Madagascar and Mexico origins were very mild and ended up in the middle of the pack as they brought almost nothing noteworthy to the cookie.

This is part of what I love about being in the kitchen and getting to bake so much. I get to do so many things like test vanilla, do recipe research, and bake things I never would have if I never started this adventure. Thank you to everyone that has supported me along the way!

German Chocolate Cake Cups

Ok. I have decided that cake cups are the perfect wedding and event dessert! They are the perfect single serve size, easily transportable, have great cake to frosting ratio, and they are cute! Bonus points for being able to sit out all night without concerns of contamination or drying out.

Cinnamon Rolls for my biggest supporters. ❤️

I was just about to start making rolls for my oldest to take to school to celebrate the last day when my youngest asked if I would make some for him too to take to daycare to share with his friends. Of course I will buddy! They were some happy boys this morning!

So. Many. Cheesecakes.

These mini cheesecakes are equivalent to an eighth of one of my big cheesecakes. My big cheesecakes can easily be divided into 16+ pieces, and yet these minis deceivingly look like they could be eaten in one sitting. 😶‍🌫️ Gonna find out soon. 😂
