❤️ LET’S SHOW UP FOR ROGER ❤️

Many of you have heard about the terrible accident on I-84 involving our friend, community member, and Big River customer Roger Birkeland, pictured below with his wife, Tammie.

Roger was doing what Roger does — helping someone. He had stopped to assist a motorist with a flat tire when another vehicle struck the ODOT truck and then hit Roger and the gentleman he was helping.

Tragically, the gentleman Roger stopped to help lost his life. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones as they navigate an unimaginable loss.

Roger suffered very serious injuries and has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

Roger is one of our own. He’s a familiar face in our little community, a friend to many, and someone who has spent his career helping keep others safe.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him. ❤️
