These are garlic scapes- fresh cut yesterday from the garlic that we are growing. We took them and made a killer pesto with olive oil, lemon and WALNUTS(this sandwich contains nuts) Add balsamic grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, in house pickled onions, fresh mozzarella on toasted pita bread, this makes a great summertime sandwich!
