Hello neighbors,
We need your help identifying a woman who has been coming by our café nearly every night after we close (around 8:10–8:30 PM). She has been intentionally bringing her dog to eat the food we leave out for the stray animals in the area.
What’s especially upsetting is that she often directs her dog to the bowls, even when the dog isn’t interested, by yanking the leash and pointing him to the food. This has been happening for weeks, and it’s truly disheartening. We’ve even placed a clear message asking her not to do this, but she continues to ignore it.
Please understand that everything we provide for these animals comes out of our own pockets. That food is meant for strays who are truly in need—especially injured or frightened cats who rely on it to survive.
We are also genuinely concerned for the dog. Is the dog properly cared for? Is this his primary meal of the day? As fellow pet owners, it’s troubling to see someone feeding their pet random food left out in a public space — especially food intended for sick or injured stray animals. This behavior raises questions about the dog’s overall well-being.
If you recognize this woman, we kindly ask that you speak with her or help us encourage her to stop.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
