We have officially made it to the hottest days of summer. Days when it feels like the sun has a personal vendetta against you.

Luckily we have harnessed the energy of the sun and converted it into pepper goodness for you! Well, the plants had a lot more to do with it but we help them along.

Today’s special is light and fresh! Nice and cool for these hot days.

I kid you not, the purée for this roll is phenomenal. Made from fresh home grown Habanada peppers. Habanero flavor, no heat.

We are so sad to report that a former team member has passed away. Junior never met a stranger. He was silly. He was kind. He was fun to work with and took his role seriously all while boosting staff morale. Sometimes after close he would preform his songs which he wrote, arranged and sang. He was supposed to get big and famous and Edamame would have a mobile sushi area in the tour bus. He will be missed. He contributed so much and I am so sad he is gone. Goodbye friend and the world’s best singing dishwasher.

Pepper plants are enjoying this heat more than I. We should have some fresh home grown peppers for everyone from now until the end of the season.
