And they want you at Music Bingo Thursday, tomorrow night.

Our host and owner has two rounds filled with your favorite 90’s tunes ready for you starting at 7 PM.

So stop on by The Flying Squirrel Pub, for a night of award-winning food, 20 taps, great times, and fun prizes!

Our Chopped Cheese is back!

This week’s weekly special is a fan favorite.

You get to enjoy our all-beef burger patty chopped with onions and american cheese. Topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and our special squirrel sauce all on a toasted sub roll.

Get it starting tomorrow, served with your choice of our hand-cut pub chips or fries and a soft drink all for only $16.

Please don’t steal from local businesses, especially artwork.

Even if you see a poster or piece of art you love, we’d be more than happy to tell you where we got it so you can get one of your own!

A big part of what makes The Flying Squirrel feel like home is the artwork and displays throughout the pub.

Over the years, we’ve received so many gifts and commissioned pieces to display on our walls, and we love sharing them with everyone who walks through our doors.

But for everyone to enjoy them, they have to stay on the walls. 🥲

Unfortunately, sometime this past week, someone removed the screws from one of the framed posters in our bathroom, took the artwork, and left the empty frame behind the trash can.

We’re pretty sad to say that we no longer have our Flying Squirrel poster asking the very important question: “Are you pooping?” 😪🐿️

If you see something you love, just ask us where you can find one of your own. We promise we’d rather help you find it than have to replace it.

With this being said, we are always welcoming of anyone wanting to bring in any artwork they would like displayed around the pub.

This week, for our weekly special, you can enjoy your favorite burger chopped and grilled, topped with grilled onions, swiss cheese, and 1000 island dressing, all served on marble rye.

Served with your choice of our hand-cut pub chips or award-winning fries and a soft drink, all for only $15!

It’s available now, so come in and get it while you can, and don’t forget that it’s Tuesday.

We have a Give Back Day for Appalachian Wildlife Refuge coming up next Wednesday!

From 4 - 9 PM August 19th, 20% of all proceeds will be donated back to the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge.

Appalachian Wildlife Refuge (AWR) is an 11-year-old local nonprofit that rehabilitates and releases around 2,000 injured and orphaned wild animals each year.

AWR also cares for bear cubs, including one rescued from a tree in Asheville after being injured for a selfie. They also operate a wildlife emergency hotline and transport team.
