What an incredible honor! Thank you, Hidden Florida, for featuring Slim’s! While we may not have started this legacy, we’re incredibly grateful to continue it. Since taking over a few years ago, we’ve been committed to honoring the tradition that has made Slim’s a hometown favorite since 1957. Thank you to our loyal customers, our amazing staff, and this wonderful community for allowing us to be part of your family traditions. Here’s to many more years of great barbecue and great memories!

Since 1954, Slim's has been the undisputed cathedral of Central Florida's rugged frontier grit and slow-smoked barbecue tradition. You pull up to this historic, unpretentious landmark and instantly catch the intoxicating aroma of oak smoke and sizzling ribs. You slide into a booth and eagerly tackle a massive plate of their legendary, tender sliced beef or pork topped with secret-recipe sauce, enjoying the remarkably fast service. The vibe is loud, honest, and wonderfully old-school. You drive away completely full and happy.

🚨 Temporary Closure Notice 🚨

Due to an unexpected water outage, Slim’s Bar-B-Q is temporarily closed.

The City has informed us that a construction crew accidentally broke a main water line, leaving us without water. Unfortunately, we are unable to operate until service is restored.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. We’ll post an update as soon as the water is back on and we’re able to reopen.
