Gokí comes from beregoki, a Zapotec word tied to our family’s roots in Oaxaca. Bere means bird, while Gokí means royal, noble, or sacred. Together, they refer to the peacock - a symbol with a special connection to the city that became our home: Arcadia, California. 🦚
From Oaxaca to Arcadia, our family has carried traditions, flavors, and memories and Gokí is our way of sharing them with you.
