Don’t mind me looking all silly, I was trying to stand on my toes for the camera and try feeding Reba her water by the syringe. She did not want to stay in my hand. Reba was very weak, not walking and almost died. I started feeding her scrambled eggs and giving her electrolytes by the syringe. Now she is walking on her own and thriving.

We welcomed some new additions to our family last night. A kind woman at Tractor Supply gifted us a fragile golden comet chick who was struggling to thrive. Despite the odds, we nurtured her with care and prayer, and supplemented her diet with raw egg yolks. This morning, she was standing and chirping, a testament to her resilience. While Comet still requires attention, she's making remarkable progress, and we're hopeful for her bright future.

Maisey has been doing this thing every time I go out to the chicken coop! She begs me to get on my shoulder so she can help me tend to the chickens. She loves to watch them and she doesn’t try to hurt them. They are all double her size. She is just amazed over them.

My hens are thriving and generously sharing their bounty - I'd love for you to enjoy some! Fresh eggs are $4 a dozen. We also have duck eggs, packed with goodness perfect for baking, available for $5 a dozen.
