In the summer Fridays are not only Fish day, they are also Flower day. Fresh dahlias on every table, and check out our new vases! I'm tickled pink with excitement that they are ready!!! We commissioned local artist Josie Valby to create a vase heavier than the glass carafes we used until now, so they don't get knocked over so easily. She hit it out of the park! We love them! Each one is unique, hand thrown and has our logo stamped on it. They're so cute and rustic, and look like they have been part of the restaurant since we opened. (We are not selling them, but if you can't live without one, she will have them available on her website. Just wait for her to restock as she just finished the original 24 she made for us. I wish I could share the scent some of the freshly toasted ingredients when Leo makes his award winning mole sauce. Some 24 hours later, after a late night and 27 ingredients of making it (he starts at 2AM) and another half day of simmering its ready. Sunday's special Mole Poblano, and Monday night's Enchiladas Mexicano are your chance to try it. 🌶️❤️

Big Congratulations to Christina our 2025 Pumpkin Carving Contest Winner, and Dennis our Runner Up.
Both entries were fantastic and only one point (out of 40) separated the two entries. They were very different but both were excellent, creative, artistic, well executed and captured the spirit of Halloween! Thank you for playing and sharpen your knives for next year!
