This beautiful Jazz Bass is such an amazing gift to Rô Càphê and our little live music stage. I truly appreciate your kindness and support.

Little by little, our stage is growing, and I’m so happy that these instruments will be here for many talented musicians in our community to play, share their music, and make more memories together at Rô. 🎶❤️

🥹❤️ A little surprise in the mail today…

I checked the mail pretty late today, and there was a handwritten letter from Lee Snodgrass.

I opened it, read it… and honestly, it made me really happy. ❤️

I think a lot of people around the Fox Valley know Lee. But this little note immediately brought me back to the days after the tornado in Menasha.

That day, my younger brother and I were out handing out meals to people affected by the storm.

While we were there handing out food, we happened to run into Lee and her team. They were right there in the neighborhoods, helping people clean up, moving debris, and doing whatever they could to help.

I remember seeing them and thinking… wow, they’re really out here. ❤️

We were there handing out food. They were there helping with the cleanup. And everywhere around us, people were doing whatever they could to help somebody else.

It was one of those moments where you really get to see what a community is made of.

So today, when I opened this letter and saw Lee thanking Rô for what we did, I couldn’t help but smile. 🥹❤️

Lee, you really didn’t have to send this.

If anything, thank YOU and your team too. ❤️🙏

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for getting your hands dirty and working alongside our neighbors when they needed help.

We didn’t bring those meals out there expecting anything in return. We just wanted to do whatever little part we could.

So receiving something like this afterward… yeah, it means a lot to me.

Today was just a regular day, checking the mail a little late…

and somehow one little handwritten letter made my whole day. 🥹❤️

🙏Thank you, Lee.

🙏And thank you to everyone who showed up for each other after the storm.

This is the Fox Valley I love. Neighbors helping neighbors. ❤️🙏

See those little sauce dishes next to your bowl? Don’t ignore them. 😂

A little hoisin, a little chili sauce, maybe some fresh chili if you like the heat 🌶️… mix it up and dip your beef in!

Dip the meat, take a bite, then go right back to that hot bowl of Phở. 🤤🍜

Simple, but this is one of those little Phở habits many of us grew up with in Sài Gòn. ❤️
