We are profoundly saddened to announce that George Clifton lost his battle from complications treating his brain cancer. We created over 90 different golf venues over the past 38 years. We were the principals in designing, privately funding, constructing and operating Forest Lake under a long-term Ground Lease with Ocoee.

George was a friend to all, gracious - humble - caring. Infectious belly laugh…see photo with Chi Chi. Creative too…invented his own ‘George Burger’ & his signature cocktail the ‘Miss Vickey’…so next time out to FLGC ordered you one and raise a glass to his legacy..Ask the girls to put in on the City’s tab.
