Good news/Bad news
Bad news first because I prefer ending announcements on a high note.
The bad news is, I made the decision to cancel the Adopt a Ghoul Costume Tree Drive this year. For whatever reason, it was not successful and received just one request. Despite your shares and reminders. Its Oct 1 tomorrow and that was the deadline for families to submit their requests. Last years event garnered a lot more attention and interest and i had a flurry of inquiries as of the same date. Im sad about this because the entire community rallied last year and the kids wishes were met. This year its been crickets 😪
The good news 🙌 the local cool kid crew of 3 Rivers Ghostbusters started off strong in the donation department this past Sunday at our Hallowed Grounds Bizarre!
They received a lot of donated costumes and will continue the drive through October 17, for oick up BY October 24. If you're in need of costumes for your kiddos or would like to donate, reach out to them and theyll be happy to help you!
As for the family who did submit their request, they have 3 kiddos ages 4, 7, and 9. If any kind witch or warlock would still like to sponsor their costume wish please reach out to me and Ill get you the details.
