LEXINGTON, SOUTH CAROLINA... WE'RE COMING HOME!

After years of bringing our South Carolina-style BBQ to folks in Florida, Roots Southern BBQ is officially returning to where it all began.

Starting July 1st, we'll be based in Lexington County and serving communities throughout the Midlands and beyond!

We're excited to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and bring our slow-smoked BBQ, homemade sauces, and Southern hospitality back home.

But Roots has always been about more than BBQ.

From day one, we've believed in being part of the communities we serve—supporting local events, helping neighbors, partnering with organizations, celebrating milestones, and showing up when people need us. We can't wait to become part of the Lexington community in those same ways and build the kind of relationships that make a place feel like home.

We're asking our South Carolina friends to help us spread the word by liking, following, and sharing our page. Every share helps us reconnect with old friends and meet new ones as we begin this exciting new chapter.

And to our Tampa Bay (SouthShore) family—thank you for embracing us over the years. Don't worry, we'll still be making a few trips back for favorites like Pig Jig, the Ruskin Seafood Festival, and a few other special events along the way.

The countdown is on... we’re down to our FINAL THREE WEEKS in Florida before our big move to South Carolina!

This week (Thursday) you'll find us at Shadetree Apartments in Ruskin (just off 19th Ave & Cypress Creek Blvd). We'll be serving up all your Roots favorites on Thursday, June 11th starting at 4:00 PM.

This will be our final visit to this location, and we'd love to see some familiar faces before we go! We park right in front of the clubhouse, so it's easy in and easy out.

Come grab some BBQ, say hello, and help us make one more great memory at Shadetree!

The countdown is ON!

In just 30 days, Roots Southern BBQ is moving home to South Carolina! July 1st will be here before we know it!

Many of you have asked to book with us before then.... need catering for your staff? A customer appreciation event? Birthday, anniversary, neighborhood gathering, office lunch, or something completely different? We've got you covered!

We're booked the first week of June, but we still have some availability between June 8th and June 28th. Some dates are already filling up, so send us a message and we'll check our schedule. We'd love the opportunity to serve you before we hit the road!
