🇺🇸 Today and always, we remember.

We honor all those who lost their lives on that unforgettable and tragic day, September 11, 2001. We remember the innocent lives taken, and we honor the countless first responders who ran toward the danger, from the very beginning through the aftermath.

I think every one of us can remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when those planes struck. The sadness and heartbreak of that day will remain in our hearts forever.

Yet, in the days that followed, we witnessed something beautiful—the way our country and the world came together. People stood beside one another, helped one another, and reminded us of what truly matters.

I pray we never lose that sense of unity and compassion.

We will always remember. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

To our amazing community, I am reaching out to give thanks to all of you who are supporting us in so many different ways! A special shout out to our neighbors at The Brick, Kimi’s Carpets, Lucci Blues, Early Bird Cafe, The Vine, & Pints! You guys have gone above and beyond and we can’t thank you enough! Another special shout out to our entire staff:
I can only imagine how scary and difficult this is for you all and you guys have been standing by our side with so much patience and love and offers to help us do anything we need and we are so grateful for every single one of you! Believe us when we tell you, you guys are our number one priority in getting up and running so we can get you all back to work!
And a very special shout out to our amazing customers: all of the comments, private messages, phone calls, text messages, and special trips you all have made to our Apex location, we can’t thank you enough! You all have truly brought tears to our eyes and smiles on our faces during this trying time! You all are truly the reason we are getting through this!
While we are navigating through all of this, we are trying to put our Fuquay staff to work in our Apex location! So if you have time over this Labor Day weekend, come and show your love and support for them! We have plenty of pizza, cocktails, Italia 🇮🇹🍝, Dishes, and smiles to offer all of you!

Special prayers to the gentleman that was hit by the school bus driver. Glad he is at home recovering ❤️

To our Amazing customers:
Unfortunately this morning there was a terrible accident that has impacted our Fuquay restaurant. Thankfully, no one sustained any kind of major injuries and everyone is OK. We are currently trying to navigate through the damages in the restaurant and trying to figure out what the next steps are. We are extremely devastated that this has happened. In the coming days, we will keep you informed on the plan, and praying that we can get up and running soon!
Please pray for our family and staff and all those who were involved in the accident.
In the meantime we will continue to do business as usual in our Apex location and we hope to see you there! Thank you so much for all of you who have reached out and supported us!

A little piece of our family history ❤️🍕

I came across this newspaper article from August 28, 2008, and it brought back so many memories.

Our family’s restaurant journey began in Brooklyn, when my dad, Silvio, opened his first pizzeria in 1980. In 1995, our family took a leap of faith and moved to North Carolina, opening J&S New York Pizza in Apex.

I started working in my parents’ restaurant when I was just 15 years old, along side my siblings. So many of my favorite childhood memories are tied to family, food, and working together.

This article was written when we had been in Apex for 13 years and were just beginning our journey in Fuquay-Varina. Today, we’ve been part of the Apex community for almost 31 years and Fuquay-Varina for almost 20 years.

So much has changed, but the most important things haven’t—family, hard work, homemade food, and the incredible customers who have supported us through the years.

We are so grateful for every person who has walked through our doors and made J&S part of their family traditions.

31 years in Apex. Almost 20 in Fuquay. And still family owned. ❤️🍕

We truly couldn’t have done it without you.
