On December 4th, 2015, a small dream took shape—a dream to bring a taste of Louisiana, dusted in powdered sugar, to life. That was the day we opened the doors to Mr. A’s Beignets.
Ten years later, the taste and aroma of fresh beignets have become a tradition for thousands of customers.
2023 brought a new chapter: our expansion into North Topsail Beach, where the ocean breeze mingles with the sweet scent of beignets. And yes—our turtle-shaped beignets became an instant fan favorite! 🐢
2025 was a year of change. We downsized, selling our permanent location on Hwy 55 in Apex, and shifted our focus to events—where we can keep the quality of our beignets at their absolute peak.
Through it all, we’ve served more than 1,000,000 beignets, earned hundreds of five-star reviews, and welcomed 134,000 website visitors and 11,000+ followers into our growing family.
But the true heartbeat of Mr. A’s Beignets is my Krewe—the incredible team that makes every batch, every smile, and every memory possible. Together, we’ve built more than a business; we’ve built a family tradition.
As we celebrate ten years of powdered sugar magic, I look forward with excitement. The next year holds new adventures and new stories waiting to be written.
