This is a great opportunity at our local library for families with young children! Free literacy classes and free dinner provided by Izzy's Cafe! 😋
The library is offering a free weekly Early Learning & Literacy Enrichment class. One adult can bring an infant/baby (0-2) and up to two attending children (ages 3-12).
Dinner for all is provided by Izzy’s Cafe.
Parent/adult is requested to attend 6 weekly classes
with children, on either Tuesday or Thursday, from 6-7:30pm.
Classes run Tuesday, June 30 to Thursday, August 6.
The same parent/adult does not need to attend each class.
Class includes FREE dinner, plus a 45-minute class with other adults on helping children ages 0-12 with their learning and literacy.
While adults meet, children enjoy 45 minutes of educational play focused on learning and literacy. This is not affiliated with any school initiative. No phone or computer-time, no pictures taken, just community!
Our instructors are: Joy Floyd (FCS) Rebecca Batson-Byrd (Early Head Start) Lynn Sapienza (Bring Me A Book Forgotten Coast) and Marisa Getter (ABC School).
These classes are offered in partnership with Bring Me A Book Forgotten Coast and are grant funded by the Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida.
