We might be in the potato business, but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate a damn good pizza! 😂🍕

Today we ventured out to Sourdough Pizza in Mesa for lunch, and let me tell you… it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! 🤤🙌

As small business owner myself, I know how much blood, sweat, tears, and probably a few choice words go into keeping a business running. 😂 That's why we believe in showing up and supporting other local businesses whenever we can!

There's enough room at the table for all of us to succeed. ❤️

So if you're in Mesa and craving some good pizza, go show Sourdough Pizza some love! You won't regret it!

🥔❤️ SPUD HAPPENS UPDATE — CLOSED TODAY ❤️🥔

Well, apparently the universe decided to put our little Spud Crew through the wringer this weekend. 😅🤦‍♀️

We've had a string of unfortunate events, and sometimes life reminds us that we're human beings first and potato slingers second.

❤️ Our morning cook is dealing with a family emergency, with a loved one currently in the hospital. We're asking our amazing community to send some extra love, prayers, and good vibes their way today. ❤️

🤒 Another one of our cooks has been out sick since yesterday.

🥔 And then there's Ducky! Our newest cook, who basically got thrown straight to the wolves yesterday and somehow survived a LOOOONG double shift in the kitchen! 😂👏 Somebody get that man a cape... and a nap!

👏 And a HUGE shoutout to Jessica, our newest SpudTender! This girl has been stepping up BIG TIME, jumping in where she's needed, rolling with the punches, and helping hold down the fort through all the craziness. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're lucky to have you on the crew! ❤️🥔

So, after looking at the situation, I've decided SPUD HAPPENS WILL BE CLOSED TODAY, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11.

As much as I hate closing our doors, I also refuse to run my crew into the ground. These people work hard, they show up, and they deserve to know that their health, families, and well-being come before a baked potato.

Please send some love to our Spud Crew, especially our cook and their family going through a difficult time. ❤️

Thank you, Apache Junction, for continuing to support our little potato joint through all the chaos, curveballs, and occasional mashed-up messes.

Our neighbors at Lucky Strikes Bar have BINGO starting at 1:00 PM ⏰️ Jennifer Linton-Thomas aka KRAZY is hosting, so you already know it’s probably going to be a whole situation. 🤪
