Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to give you a little update on where we are.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would love nothing more than to come back to Anniston and bring Thai One On back to the community we love. Unfortunately, after looking closely at everything, we’ve realized that rebuilding the building to a condition where we could safely and successfully operate will cost far more than we can afford right now.

We know we would have incredible support from so many of you in Anniston, and that means the world to us. Your kindness, encouragement, and belief in us have never been forgotten. But with the current economy and the financial challenges we face, reopening at this time would be extremely difficult.

We simply want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has stood by us, prayed for us, reached out, donated, shared kind words, and continued to support us through this journey. Your love has carried us through some very difficult times, and we will always be grateful.

We haven’t given up on the dream. We just have to be patient and wait for the right opportunity. Until then, please know that Anniston will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I wanted to provide an update on our plans to rebuild and reopen the restaurant. At this time, we have not yet secured the financing needed to move forward with the project. We are currently meeting with contractors to obtain estimates and determine the total cost required to rebuild.

We are also exploring financing options and are willing to use the building as collateral. Unfortunately, we have not yet found a financial institution or bank that is able to provide the funding we need. If anyone knows of a bank, lender, or financial institution that may be able to assist, we would greatly appreciate any recommendations.

As a result, the rebuilding process may take a little longer than we had originally hoped. However, we remain committed to making this happen and are working hard to find the right solution so we can return as soon as possible.

We sincerely thank everyone who has supported us, encouraged us, and offered assistance throughout this process. Your support means a great deal to us, and we are truly grateful.

We look forward to seeing all of you again soon and welcoming you back when we reopen.
