We also want to give a special shoutout to Below Zero Creamery in downtown Oxford! 🍦

Lara reached out to ask if they would be willing to let our students purchase rolled ice cream as a Field Day treat. Their normal business hours are 12–6, but they so graciously agreed to open early just for us.

They offered special kids cups for our students and also welcomed our families to order from the full menu. We ended up having around 65 people there at one time, and it was definitely a little chaotic, but they could not have been more patient or kind.

With just two of them working, one taking orders and one rolling ice cream and making treats, they were truly the calm in the chaos. Even with so many orders, the presentation was beautiful, the treats were delicious, and the customer service was top tier.

I apologized for the chaos and the number of orders, and she assured me that we were a blessing. That meant so much.

I could not recommend them more, not only for their delicious rolled ice cream and sandwiches, but because they are two of the kindest people I’ve encountered in a while.
