Surprise Special: Revolutionary Lamb Kofta

We were so excited to be selected to participate in the Governor’s annual Buy Local Cookout today, an event highlighting the amazing products of Maryland’s farmers, watermen, and producers. Unfortunately, the smoky air means the event is now postponed until September. That is a bummer for them and a major win for you!

We had already prepared our recipe for the event yesterday, so today we are going to be serving a two dishes highlighting the produce and lamb from a few of our favorite farmers!

Our lamb kofta meatballs are made using ground lamb from New Roots Farm in West River, MD. They also include fresh mint and parsley from John J Minetola in Davidsonville. Served two ways - one as a rice bowl and one wrapped in a pita. We’ve also prepared a bright watermelon and charred corn salad featuring sweet corn from our friends at Shlagel Farms in Waldorf, MD and watermelon from our gal Abby Diehl of Abby Diehl.

Our Peaches & Cream Crepe is stuffed with peach cream cheese, topped with sweet peaches, powdered sugar, and whipped cream, then served with your choice of meat. Summer never tasted so good.

Available for a limited time, so come get it while it’s peachy!

The first Munchies Menu drop is here.

Ordering opens at 5 PM, and the Munchies Menu is starting strong with loaded decisions, sweet temptations, and plenty of reasons to stay in and order out.
