Truxtun Park will be buzzing on Saturday, September 28th from 12-4pm, when Annapolis Recreation and Parks hosts its very first Hispanic Heritage Month Festival. Have you ever seen Lucha Libre--professional wrestling originating from Mexico--in person and up close? You will next Saturday! Deejay Rey Parker from El Zol 107.9FM will be here, along with a mariachi band and Latin dancers. We'll have food trucks, loteria games (similar to bingo), Latin dance lessons, crafts, and community resources. And we'll be giving out the very first Annapolis Hispanic Heritage Month poster, designed by Jesse Raudales, the first Latino Olympic artist. We'll see you on 9/28 at "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center, 273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis. The event is free and everyone is welcome!
