Satchel's BBQ is accepting applications for entry-level kitchen staff. Those who are interested can either apply online (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdQhPPIGu8Y1lx18Mc-3tLLdOAXfhaThtd5vfijZx28E00cxg/viewform) or email a resume to [email protected]. Please apply if you are available to work both the lunch shift (9am-3pm) and dinner shifts (3pm-8pm). Responsibilities include cashier work, dishwashing and prep work. If you are picky about the type of work you are willing to do (i.e., "I don't do dishes"), then this is not the job for you.

Pay consists of hourly ($10.15 per hour) plus tips (average of $9.00 per hour) plus profit-sharing after six months (an additional $10 per hour). In short, if you stay and work hard, your total pay will be $28-$30 per hour. Other benefits include medical insurance (50/50 split between employee and employer for premium) and retirement savings account (with employer match).

Spending the weekend on your income taxes? Take a break and get yourself some delicious hot link sausage (a big staff favorite) and burnt end chili. The sausage goes great with our Mustard BBQ Sauce, and the chili is best with a piece of cornbread (and maybe some collards....and red beans and rice...and mac-and-cheese...the more, the merrier). Heck, if only all this was tax deductible!
