It's 4-H Fair Week in Steuben County!
One of the things we love about the 4-H Fair is that it's really about the kids and all the work they've put in throughout the year. Behind every animal, exhibit, project, and ribbon is a young person who spent months learning new skills, solving problems, showing responsibility, and sticking with something even when it got challenging.
4-H teaches a lot more than how to raise an animal or complete a project. It teaches confidence, leadership, public speaking, teamwork, and what it means to put your heart into something. Those are lessons that stick around long after fair week is over.
We'll be set up at the fair all week with Broomsticks and Brews serving up bubble teas, dirty sodas, lemon shake-ups, and other magical refreshments. So while you're checking out the exhibits and cheering on our local 4-H members, stop by and grab a drink!
And if you see a young person showing off a project they're proud of, take a moment to ask them about it. Trust us, you'll probably learn something new, and you'll make their day.
