***Please note that The Kilted Viking is CLOSED today Saturday the 29th of August, Sunday 30th, Monday the 31st and Tuesday for half the day. We will be open sometime in the afternoon on Tuesday.***

Closed for my mom's memorial service out of town. Thank you all for your support and the many comments and expressions of sympathy as you have visited us since her passing. She was an amazing woman and she is living in Glory in the presence of Almighty God and all of her believing family and friends who God called home before her. My dad, our three children who we never got to know, my grandparents, and Aunty Ruth. So many friends and colleagues from over the years. They are having a grand time. We miss them all. We believe we will be reunited with them in heaven through Christ. There is hope in this world. To have to go through life without that hope seems cruel and hateful. If you do not have that hope and want to know more about it please do not ever hesitate to ask. I am a Viking, but I have been wholly saved by the True King. Who has overcome the world and offered a way of salvation for sinners.

Good day Angels and community! We are loving this breath of fresh air today with a little rain and some cloud covering. Come see us today - perfect weather to enjoy a pie, sausage roll, or something a bit sweet - our berry tarts!

We are open today until 8pm, then we will be closed until Tuesday at noon to attend Tim's mother's funeral.

Whoops! Kinda got caught up doing loads of dishes today!

We still have pies 😁

*Gluten-friendly baked potatoes with chicken or beef topping (Beef topping and no cheese is dairy-free)

*Limited # bacon, mushroom, onion, cream cheese breakfast pie with eggs and potatoes.

While we do not have indoor seating, we do have 2 tables outside if you wish to brave the weather 😉AND we now have new patty paper we are using with the pies, and we are happy to report that they are easier to peel off before you enjoy your pie!

Just a fair warning about this upcoming week, we will be out Sat-Tues afternoon to attend the Viking's mother's funeral, so come by and get your pie fix before Saturday to hold you over until Tuesday...and we close at 8 pm on Friday!

Good morning to each and every one of you! Thank you for allowing us a much-needed day with the family yesterday ❤️

We are back at it today. Breakfast pies just went into the oven and we have sausage rolls already fired this morning! Come on down for some breakfast.

On the menu for today:
*Beef cottage pies with mash or padtry top
*Beef mince pie with double Irish cheese (no peas)
*Chicken pie with mash or pastry top
*Indian butter chicken pie with pastry top
*Gluten-friendly pound baked potatoes with gluten-friendly beef or chicken pot pie filling ladled on top then topped with Irish cheddar cheese!

We are also working on a customer sign-up with your phone number to be texted with newly added pies, sale on day-old pies, and updates at The Kilted Viking. At check-out, you should now be given this option 😁

Morning Angels and neighbors.

So sorry for the last-minute notice, but we will be closed today due to family priorities given the loss that our family has been through as of late. We really appreciate your understanding as we need some time to grieve and support each other.

This is a good time to also announce this week's change of hours to attend The Viking's mother's funeral. This week and next week's hours will be:

Monday (today): Closed
Tuesday 8a-8p
Wednesday 8a-8p
Thursday 8a-8p
Friday 8a-8p
CLOSED Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
*NO DROP-OFFS during closed hours*
Tuesday, Sept 1st open again at 12pm-8pm

Rest of the first week of September, resuming normal business hours.

The Viking is flying solo this morning as the Shield Maiden is needed at home to care for our 15 year-old puppy who is not going to be with us much longer.

So thank you for being patient as he is hopping from the kitchen to the front.
