Busy day at The Kilted Viking. God said, "Let there be light and there was light." I said, "let there be light" and after the electician hooked up the lights and flipped the breaker, the kitchen lit up for the first time.
The Shield Maiden mopped and sealed the kitchen and bar floors earlier this week and they look great!
The bar was sanded down (cough cough) edged and is now ready to have some final cuts made for tap and sink installation and some routering then final epoxy application.
The new beer tap bridge has been ordered as well as the ice maker, another fridge and freezer and other kitchen essentials.
Work starts again on Tuesday with mudding, texturing and painting of the front wall, the walls above the stainless walls in the kitchen. Application of epoxy on the bar, installation of the final two sinks, installation of the baby changing nook in the bathroom, 5 new windows, and a new door.
We are getting there.

"It takes a village" Yes, it sure does! So thankful for the guys' help, who all gladly jumped out of class from down the street, (New Geneva school) to help us unload several sinks and shelving for the kitchen!

Opening day is getting closer. We do not have an exact date yet, but we are getting very close!
