Monday Night Football is where it is at....at My Bar downtown Angels.

At the Kilted Viking, we are cooking for Monday night football games and your food is FREE and covered by My Bar when you come in and have a drink and enjoy the game. 🏈🏈🏈

Tonight, on the themed menu is:
*Build your own: Home-made focaccia bread top with Buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles, diced celery, drizzled blue cheese dressing, and Buffalo hot sauce. Sides of salad, celery, and carrot sticks. So go on over tonight and every Monday night for some food, football, and fun!

Coming Monday to the Kilted Viking.

We will be changing from Pumpkin Pancakes at breakfast to a Pumpkin Waffle with cinnamon butter and molasses drizzle or maple syrup and two slices of bacon. This is served from 8-11 am every single except Sunday as we are closed all day Sunday. We will also be changing the stuffed Yorkshire Pudding breakfast to a Yorkshire Pudding alongside a made to order 3 egg omelet with your choice of spicy Serrano peppers, onions, bacon, mushrooms, and cheddar, swiss, or cream cheese with a side of bacon.

We will see how the weather cooperates and try to do a creamy roasted tomato soup with a three cheese grilled cheese panini one day next week.

Ginger Molasses cookies are coming soon.

The roasted beet side dish is staying on the menu as it was very well received. Coleslaw of course will continue to be a mainstay. Looking at ramping up side dishes. This week we will add my mom's Hot German Potato Salad that I served two weeks ago at My Bar in Angels Camp, it was the first time I had ever made it. It was also her first birthday in heaven so it was pretty special to me. It was so well received that people have been asking me to put it on the menu permanently. I am also thinking about putting the b**r mustard sauce I made for the b**r brats I did on Monday night, for the bar on the menu alongside the sausage roll. We are starting to ramp up the menu. Don't miss out. I expect to see you there.

P.S. We will have a piano being delivered tomorrow and hopefully our pool table in the next week or two. Competition dart boards have been purchased and will be put in the pipeline to be installed. Pepsi soda fountain is being installed on Monday. We are looking to expand our reach into Sonora, Colombia, Soulsbyville and Jamestown soon, we have important meetings on Tuesday in regards to that. I had a good conversation with a few wineries in Murphys this week to bring them down for some events inside the Viking. Also looking to make a connection with Bear Valley and possibly Dodge Ridge. If anyone has connections please pass them on. We are so excited by all the prospects in front of us. Thank you for all of your support. Evening Angels!

We have a new item we are adding to our menu!

Introducing...the Puffin! (see picture)
A muffin-sized version of our classic chicken or beef cottage hand pie. Puff pastry crust cuddling a spoonful of our chicken or beef filling, a layer of hand-mashed potatoes, and then topped with a sprinkle of Irish cheddar cheese. Perfect for those with a smaller appetite. $12 each.

This is starting tonight, so if you still have no plans for dinner, come on by and grab some to eat here or take them home. Let us heat our kitchen up instead of yours!

Morning Angels and neighbors! What better way to start of your Saturday weekend than with a yummy breakfast from The Kilted Viking! Serving now every day for October and November 0800-1100.

Before you go and stomp some grapes today, come by and get some mash-top pies - we mash our own potatoes and pipe them on top of the chicken and cottage pies!
