Need enough energy to get through the rest of the day? This meal was ordered by the tree-trimming crew who came by our place:

DogHouse Cheeseburger: grass-fed beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, mustard, mayo, and ketchup in a Rotella sourdough bun. It doesn’t look like a hamburger you’re used to, but it tastes arguably better.

Fries: made in-house from Idaho potatoes and fried per order in beef tallow. Made like they did back in the early McD days.

🥤Drinks are just $1.99. You can choose from the cooler selections or enjoy unlimited refills of our homemade sweet tea (properly Southern with Luzianne tea leaves + cane sugar) or our homemade lemonade (made from lemon juice + cane sugar).

Here is a meal that will fill you up, and has enough to share, depending on how much you love the person you’re with. Let’s break it down:

Chicken Tenders, fried in tallow fresh to order. You’ll get more than pictured - someone was impatient. You may choose a dipping sauce: ranch, honey mustard, Frank’s hot sauce, or bbq. $7.99

Fries, made in house from Idaho potatoes, peeled, cut, and fried in tallow fresh for every order $2.99 for a basket of them.

Mocha Latté, iced. We grind coffee beans and steep them to create a cold brew overnight. When you order, we add whole milk to the cold brew, and drizzle with your choice of vanilla, mocha, or caramel Ghirardelli syrup. $3.99

It’s SuMMMMMer! With a whole lot of emphasis on the “mmmm.”

Ice cream is your favorite item on our menu, and we agree with you! But if you’re hungry, we have plenty to fill you up, from our cheeseburgers to our steak melt to taco salad and of course hot dogs.

Thanks for making the next generation work hard! We had our busiest day ever! 🥳Some of you drove through on the way to the Lake, some of you came wrapped in your pool towels, some of you walked in from the historical district behind our place, some of you came from Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters, some ordered delivery to Snowbird Mountains Brewery and some of you walked in after riding with Andrews Valley Rail Tours . We hope all of you felt welcome the second you opened our door.

We make every order fresh. Whether you order fries or tortilla chips, they’re fried (in tallow) after you order, just for you. When you order a burger or grilled cheese or a taco salad, it is grilled just for you. This makes us a little slower than “fast” food, but hopefully still quick enough to get you back on your way to the fun day you’re having.

I found this on the wall in the back kitchen near the clock. The kitchen staff must have had some downtime this week. 😅

Here’s the plan: You can help us teach the next generation a strong work ethic. For less than $9.99, order anything off our menu and for that, you’ll get excellent freshly made food *and* you’ll make the Zoomers work a little harder. 👊🏼

Don’t forget dessert: our ice cream is a high quality ice cream brought to us from the dairy cows of Michigan. It has a high butterfat content and that = delicious. Have your ice cream in a cup, cone, waffle cone, or as a coffeeshake or milkshake. 🍦

Thank you for your support last week as we closed our little place to celebrate the life of our family’s biggest cheerleader: Mom & Nana. We’ll miss her daily.

Our family will be out of town to attend a celebration of life and burial service. We will be closing at 3:00PM on Sunday and will reopen Tuesday for regular hours. Monday will be CLOSED.
