Crappie Madness Brawl - Pymatuning Lake Top 10 winners' giveaway is this Saturday, August 15 @ 1pm. Also wanted to announce Northeast Ohio Crappie Club will be having a BIG SLAB tournament that same day on Pymatuning lake for all crappie anglers. It is an open tournament to come out and have fun and roll in the Crappie Madness Brawl give aways. More details to come as to start and finish times. Check in will be across from Duck N Drake starting at 4:45AM folks. Once checked in you can leave to go to your ramp of choice. Once again, we start for 6AM - Noon. Must be in line by 12:30 for this one folks.

Nine year old Glen caught his FIRST musky on Pymatuning Lake this past Sunday fishing with his dad, Joe, and sister, Stella.

It measured 48” in length and weighed 32lbs.

Congratulations, Glen!! That’s going to be a hard one to beat!!!

We wanted to take a moment to update everyone on the Beach Comber.

After a lot of thought and discussion, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our opening until Spring 2027.

Over the past several months, our family has experienced some unexpected health issues that have required our time and attention. Family always comes first, and we know that’s the right decision.

We also believe we only get one chance to make a first impression. Rather than rush to open before we’re truly ready, we’re committed to creating the Beach Comber experience our community deserves—great food, exceptional service, and a welcoming place where friends and families can gather for years to come.

When we open, you can expect affordable prices, the return of the famous fish dinners, and the Steak on the Stone that so many people have told us they can’t wait to enjoy again. We’re taking this extra time to make sure every detail is right.

We truly cannot thank you enough for the hundreds of messages, comments, and words of encouragement we’ve received. Your patience, support, and excitement have meant more to us than you’ll ever know.

Without all of you, this dream would simply not be possible. Thank you for believing in us and standing by us through this journey.

We promise the wait will be worth it, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone through our doors in Spring 2027.

We wanted to give everyone an update on the Beach Comber project.

Our original goal was to be open by July 4th, but after looking at everything that still needs to be done, it’s simply not possible if we want to do this the right way. We know many of you were hoping we’d be open for the summer, and trust us, we wanted that too.

The reality is that we only get one chance to bring the Beach Comber back the way it deserves to be. We don’t want to cut corners, rush construction, or open before we’re ready. Our goal is to create the full experience everyone has been waiting for—a place that old patrons will recognize and new visitors will love.

With that in mind, we are now targeting a September 2026 opening.

We know that’s later than many hoped, but we’re committed to building something special rather than taking shortcuts just to open sooner. Every day we’re working hard behind the scenes to make that happen.

Thank you for all the support, encouragement, memories, and kind messages. The excitement from this community has been incredible, and it reminds us why this project is so important.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back when the doors officially open. The wait will be worth it.
