The Backroom at Hogan's General Store Great Food, Good Friends Aptly named, you can find us in the back room of Hogan's General Store in the beautiful Andes, New York.

We're a small shindig featuring the talent of Chris McGee. Cassoulet, pot roast, pumpkin samosas -- we have something for every palette and we're always mixing up our du jour / fin de semaine menu with interesting and local food. Stop in for the victuals you can't get anywhere else, or just for a cold beer with some great friends at our bar. You never know who you'll run into at The Backroom!

Hello everyone! I would like to just make a few announcements.

First, Chris has moved on to the Eureka Market at Cafe in Grahamsville, New York. You can check it out at the link below, and pay him a visit if you're ever in the area!

Second, Hogan's General Store is STILL open -- we serve pizza, subs, sandwiches, wraps, and all kinds of other finger foods, too!

Charming gourmet / local food market and cafe, featuring home-baked goods, local food and produce, organic market items, and fun gifts and housewares.

It is with a heavy heart I announce that The Backroom is closed, and earlier than expected. Our Chef, Chris McGee, has found a new opportunity in Grahamsville, NY at the Eureka Cafe and must focus his full attention there to make it as much of a success as we have been.

I (Rachael, the Waitress) would like to say on a personal note that it has been an absolute pleasure serving all of you and getting to know Andes as the wonderful town that it is. Thank you all for your support, your patronage, your liveliness, and your open arms throughout the past year.

Olives & Stuff: greens, blue cheese stuffed Greek olives, manzanilla, kalamata, anchovies, peppers, onion, fennel, and buttermilk blue cheese. That's some good stuff!

Starting this weekend, The Backroom is serving dinner only; that is from 5 to 9pm on Friday and Saturday, and 5 to 8pm on Sunday. Thank you!
